What does a typical wedding day at Fort George look like?

A wedding at Fort George is designed for a seamless, unforgettable celebration. While each wedding is unique, here’s a typical flow of the day:

  • 11:00 AM: Vendors arrive to set up the ceremony, décor, and technical equipment. Our venue coordinator ensures everything runs smoothly.

  • 4:30 PM: Groom and wedding party arrive to welcome guests.

  • 4:45 PM: Guests begin arriving for pre-ceremony drinks.

  • 5:00 PM: Ceremony begins, lasting approximately 30 minutes (timing can be adjusted to your preference).

  • 6:00 PM: Post-ceremony welcome drinks. You may choose the rooftop terrace for stunning views of the bay (ideal in pre-season or late season) or the garden (recommended during peak summer for shade and comfort).

  • 7:00 PM: Dinner begins, typically lasting around 2.5 hours.

  • After Dinner: The party starts, usually with the couple’s first dance opening the dance floor. Drinks remain available via your chosen package.

  • Late-Night Snacks: Served buffet-style near the dance floor, allowing the celebration to continue uninterrupted.

  • 2:00 AM: Event concludes. Guests board pre-arranged shuttles back to Vis Port.

Our venue coordinator works closely with you to tailor the timeline to your preferences, coordinating service, music, and vendor schedules to ensure a flawless and memorable day.
